Download GIFs from Pinterest

Save animated pins as a regular .gif file you can send in a chat or drop into a slide.

TikTok, VK, Rutube, Pinterest, X (Twitter) and Reddit. Use the link from the Share button or the page address from your browser.

How to download a GIF

  1. Copy the link

Open the animated pin and copy its link.

  2. Paste it here

    Press “Find files”.

  3. Download the GIF

If the pin has an animation, a Download button appears next to it.

GIF or video?

Many “GIFs” on Pinterest are actually short silent videos. If we find an MP4 instead, we’ll offer it: it’s several times smaller and sharper.

FAQ

Will the animation be kept?

Yes, the .gif is saved whole, with every frame.

Why do I get an MP4 instead?

The creator uploaded it as a video. Most messengers play such MP4s just like GIFs.
