TikTok, VK, Rutube, Pinterest, X (Twitter) and Reddit. Use the link from the Share button or the page address from your browser.

How to download a Rutube video

  1. Copy the link

Tap Share → Copy link under the video, or copy the browser address.

  2. Paste it here

Video, shorts and player links all work.

  3. Download the MP4

Pick a quality and the server joins the video into one file with sound.

Why you can’t just save a Rutube video

Rutube streams video as many short pieces rather than one file. Our server joins the pieces of the chosen quality into a regular MP4 without re-encoding, so there’s no quality loss.

The file is assembled while it downloads, so your browser may not show how much is left. Just wait for it to finish.

Why a video won’t download

  • It’s subscription-only or paid.
  • The author deleted or hid it.
  • It’s a live stream.
  • It’s longer than an hour.
